Lovely stay in a great location

We stayed 3 nights in this quaint home. It is walking distance to the store and several great restaurants. The view is outstanding. Parking was easy. The home was clean and had sufficient supplies for our short stay. It is a bit quirky and took some time to figure out all the heating/lighting switches. The first impression from the parking space of the back door/entry was less than impressive, as it could use some maintenance/cleaning. However, it all worked well enough. Once inside the home, you forget that and enjoy the stay. We loved the location for visiting the Cape Perpetua area for hiking, and headed north for seal and whale watching. The local trails provided us wit nice early morning walks.

Beautiful house, great location
Amazing oceanfront location right in the middle of the Village.
The downside: We chose this place primarily because of the balcony hot tub, so were incredibly disappointed to learn it was not working for the duration of our stay. I came to Yachats to compete in a long trail race and was counting on being able to soak my legs afterwards. We definitely would have chosen a different rental if we had known about the hot tub being unavailable at such short notice. There is also no bathtub in the house.
Aside from that, the view literally right on the ocean is incredible, the kitchen was well-appointed (although there is no hood fan which was an issue while cooking), even right in town it was peaceful. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything else we needed for a great vacation.
Checkin was smooth and easy, and communication from the property managers was kind and helpful.

Favorite place to stay in Yachats
Just stayed here for the second year in a row, and it is by far our favorite place to stay in Yachats. The location is amazing, overlooking the bay and just a very very short walk to restaurants and other establishments in town. The house itself has plenty of amenities - a very well stocked kitchen with good appliances, three bedrooms and 1-1/2 bathrooms, two nice decks including a hot tub on the upper, and plenty of extras like bedding, blankets, etc. There is an unfinished basement where the laundry machines are, plus a couch and TV and a small kids' play area. It's dark and musty smelling, and not someplace where we as adults would want to hang out, but maybe it works for kids or teenagers(?). the house overall does have a rustic, comfortable feel, and they accept dogs, so it's not super high end type of place, but it's really the perfect beach cabin. Highly recommend!

Best Yachats Rental
We can’t even begin to describe how much we loved staying at the Yahatian Tides rental. This was everything we could have imagined and more. The kitchen was fully equipped and the furniture was comfortable and roomy. We had a dog and 3 children and it was everything we needed. Steps from all downtown shopping and eateries. We will definitely be staying here again!

This house was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants and town shops. The long walking path is very close and we even discovered the wetland area with paths all around it. This is a very dog friendly house.

Ya-Hatian Heaven
I have stayed in Yachats every year for the past 45 years and I can confidently say that this is my favorite rental. The house is cool, well-stocked without being overstocked. The location cannot be beat; close to Luna Sea, Drift Inn and the Underground Pub, the 804 trail and the Amanda trail! The view is amazing; the bay, the ocean, the river, seals and whales! Ocean Odyssey is the best property manager. They were so easy to deal with; instantly responsive and very friendly. A great experience! Thank you!

Great House, and What a View!

We had a great time at this house. The view is amazing, it's interesting to watch the bay as the tide goes in and out, such a change! The house is set up nicely, plenty of dishes and pots/pans/containers for cooking. It's also a couple minute walk to restaurants and the market. You can walk around on Hwy 101 (busy road though) and cross the bridge to the beach you look at from the window, or a quick drive, there was plenty of parking when we were there. A very convenient location. The house was quiet, a few cars pass once in a while, but definitely slows down at night. The deck out front was a nice place to relax and watch the water. The hot tub was a great add as well, looking at that same great view. Overall the house was clean and is well maintained. Check in was easy, and communication on getting there and checking in was very fast. We will definitely be back!

Jaw dropping views in a perfect location in Yachats!
We come to Yachats twice a year for a mini-getaway. This is the first time we stayed at Ya-Hatian Tides. Scheduling was easy and staff was helpful, even got an early check in! The view is incredible! The house has everything you would need and is pet friendly! The only downside was the bathroom was really dirty. There is mold on the walls and ceiling. The door by the toilet was splattered with who knows what. There were clumps of hair on the walls of the shower. The mold needs to be mitigated and bathroom deep cleaned. If that were fixed this would have been the nicest vacation rental with the best location!! The hot tub was an excellent bonus!

Great House, Magical Location!

We had a wonderful week at Ya-Haitian Tides! Watching the tides go in and out, viewing the sunset and sunrise from the decks or hot tub, walking to tide pools and the beach...this place is everything you’re looking for. There are several restaurants and stores within walking distance, but we cooked most meals in the fab kitchen. We can’t wait to stay again!!

Favorite play to stay on the Oregon coast

This is my 4th time in this house and I still love it. Plenty of room for the family and a great game room down stairs. The View is amazing. Evenings in the hot tub as the sun sets is what makes the trip.

Our go to home
This is our go to home! When we visit Yachats this is our home of choice. The location is amazing and the views spectacular. The home is always clean. The ocean odyssey staff is amazing. I left a necklace and it was returned to me in days.

An ideal setting
Along with friends, we spent a wonderful week at this facility. It's a lovely, spacious home looking out over the bay and ocean in Yachats. The property manager provided excellent communication and assistance. I would offer one note of recommendation. Renters are asked to wash towels, etc. before departure. It would be helpful if operating instructions were provided for the washer and dryer, located in the basement.

Walk to everything, or just watch the tide
The location is perfect, you can easily walk up to the grocery store or restaurants. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept great. I wish that the other furniture was more comfortable but I would come back here.

We had an impeccable stay at Ya-Hatian tides. The views were amazing, hot tub on the roof was wonderful, and the house is cozy and very well maintained. Ocean Odyssey was very helpful and prompt and helped us find a different date for our stay when our original plan had to be changed due to weather. I would highly recommend this house!

Beautiful rental, fantastic location!

Such a cute house and all of the furnishings and decor are lovely as well. The kitchen is really well stocked for cooking a little or a lot and the ocean view makes cooking a special occasion. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The hot tub is ideally located off the upstairs bedroom on an upper deck. You get unobstructed ocean views and since it’s up high you don’t have people driving and walking close by. Our dog loved coming out on the deck and watching all the other dogs go by on the road below. You can walk to everything in town, it’s all right out the back door. We hit the jackpot on this one and will be back!

Perfect Yachats Village vacation home!

This home is perfectly outfitted for a week long stay. A well appointed kitchen with nearly every implement you could ask for. An unbeatable view, especially from the master bedroom deck with new hot tub. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and Yachats Brewing. Access to beach is a very short drive south.

We enjoyed a girls week away at "Ya-Hatian Tides" vacation rental in early May '19. It was our second visit to this wonderful place...hope to come back next year! We had everything we needed to be comfortable and felt a bit spoiled by what this place has to offer. The views out the from windows were (are) amazing!; the living areas were clean and comfortable; the decor was warm and welcoming; the proximity to the town of Yachats and the sites nearby, along the Oregon coast, couldn't have been more convenient and appreciated. My mom, 2 sisters & I highly recommend this place for a wonderful family vacation. 🙂

Wonderful Yachats Vacation Rental

This is the second stay at this rental, and we look forward to many more. Very comfortable place with an excellently appointed kitchen, and a gorgeous view of the bay and ocean. We got to watch seals surfing right below the house. Easy walk to restaurants-we love Ona, Luna Seafoods, and the Farm Store, and the wonderful Bread and Roses Bakery. You will love this place.
