Stunning views of Cape Perpetua and the ocean surf are seen from kitchen, dining room, and living room. The location is perfect for short strolls to shops and restaurants in downtown Yachats on the city trail. You can also walk the 804 Trail, which goes by the cottage, and take it to the end, where it stops North of town, and continues on with 6 miles of sandy beach towards Waldport. Or you can look at the tide pools at Smelt Sands Beach. The cottage has a large grassy back yard, and BBQ that you can use during the summer months. So, whether you are in the cottage during the bright sunny clear days of summer, or watching an amazing winter storm, the Ocean and downtown Yachats could not be much closer!!
