Ocean view
The house is spacious, has an ocean view and is within a short distance of the beach and Yachats. We had some concerns but Peter and Katy addressed them in a timely manner. This included a phone call regarding a possible tsunami.

Perfect weekend getaway

Great quiet neighborhood. Beach starts at north end of 804 walking trail. House has good accommodations, every kitchen Knick knack you would need to make meals. Lots of puzzles and games. Even a back yard fire pit to enjoy. Thanks for sharing your home.

The house was very accommodating and had everything we needed for a short get away. Unfortunately, the bathtub wasn't draining properly, but that was a minor inconvenience. Easy walk to the beach!

A relaxing stay just out of town
Our family loved the location and spaces in the house. The fire pit, the deck, the living room with lots of seating and the tub! Just what we needed. Very close to the beach but a bit of a stretch to town (a beautiful walk!). Our only complaints are that the management wasn’t very communicative and they never did respond to our email about the wet towel that was left on a bed (yuck!) and keys that were left behind. The property was fairly clean but it was obvious that some corners had been cut like with washing the duvets. Generally positive with some slight inconvenience.

We had a wonderful stay. Plenty of light, plenty of view, plenty of comfy places to sit, and a good kitchen.
Restful and fun
Our family of four enjoyed a much needed time of rest. We read books, watched movies, played foosball, and played on the beach. The house was a perfect retreat for us! Thank you!

What an exciting week...

First, thank you Peter for coming through for me in a big way. Second, this was a wonderful vacation rental, just a few feet from one of the best beaches on the Oregon Coast. It had everything you need in a vacation home and then some. We really enjoyed using the provided grill for a back yard bbq and even had a fire in the fire pit and made smores. I will definitely look into this house again the next time I need a rental.

Great location. A short walk to the beach, a short drive to Yachats. Ocean is visible from the upper level/upper deck of the home. Everything we could imagine needing (pizza pan, stock pot, hot dog roasting sticks, extra blankets, board game ...) was found in a cupboard or closet somewhere. Lots of towells - my only improvement to the home would be a few more towel racks or hooks to hang them on to dry. Appliances worked great and everything was relatively new/in good shape. Lots of DVDs, games and books if you encounter a rainy day. The road noise could be heard from the back yard, but if you opened the windows toward the ocean, all you heard was ocean.

We had not been to this area before so took a chance. We were thrilled with the results! The house was spacious and had everything we could possibly want or need, including many books, DVDs, games and toys for families. The location was wonderful and just down the road from the center of Yachats which we enjoyed so much. The short walk to the ocean was only a few steps from the house. Every morning and evening we watched the ocean from the big window in the living room. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing vacation.
