Lovely Old Home with Lots of Room and A Great Location!

Fantastic! Our new favorite in Waldport. The location is great, a quick walk and you’re on the bay for fishing or recreation. The fenced yard was wonderful for our dogs and parking inside the gate made it easy to unload our gear. We adore quirky old houses and this 1929 home was right up our alley! The beds and pillows were comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and it was perfect for our weeklong stay.

Large and convenient
The house and furnishing were old fashioned and cozy. There was lots of room and the kitchen was great, well equipped. There is some traffic noise from the bridge and main road nearby but the location is also super convenient. Nice fenced yard - we didn't use the yard but it would have been easy to have a dog or children with us on the trip.
The sink in the bathroom upstairs was not draining when we arrived. It was not fixed by the time we left. This was an inconvenience. I recommend closing the window shades in the upstairs bedrooms to keep them cool enough to sleep in, most of the air conditioning stays downstairs.
I would rent this house again!

Cute beach home

This house has character. We truly enjoyed the view from the front yard, as it looks over Alsea Bay. This home is in the heart of Waldport and everything is within walking distance in town.
The house is well equipped with anything one might need, including a baby gate which we used to keep our grandson safe.
The home is older, but the character makes it feel like home.

Great stay at Waldport

Home was clean and functional in a wonderful location. Well maintained historic home, I very much enjoyed the feel of a bygone era. Had a nice BBQ dinner one night, BBQ was clean & convenient, yard was very nice. I would not hesitate to stay again when in the area.

The house was great, clean and very convenient location. The only very minor thing is the outdoor lighting. It could use some lighting, especially where the bbq is. I think maybe the bulbs were burnt out for the light on the side of the house. Again not a big issue at all, we still had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Amazing house!

My family had a beautiful stay here, when we came to Oregon for the celebration of life for our Nana. There was the perfect amount of space and being in the heart of Waldport was perfect. Highly suggest a stay here, if you are in town!

Great place to unwind

Lovely, comfortable home

This is a lovely, comfortable old home directly across the street from a quiet beach. The beds were comfy; the kitchen had a good assortment of utensils and small appliances; there were plenty of towels and extra blankets. Our party was 6 women (a group of friends from high school decades ago.) We were all very happy with this home.

House was very quaint and enjoyable. The description listed a fireplace which had not been cleaned in 9 years so we were afraid to use it. We would rent it again.

Great Oregon family beach home
The house was nicely situated across teh street from the beach. It was lovely to walk across the street to have our coffee while sitting watching the seals and gulls in the bay. The kitchen was well appointed, everything clean. The upstairs bedroom facing the ocean was a delight. we fell asleep listening to the waves. The parking was ample, the renovations carried out preserved the character of the house. It would be perfect for a family vacation as there were lots of games, fun videos to watch and a nice big table for meals. Not for those who prefer modern facilities, but we loved the moldings, stained glass, and preserved character of the home. We would definitely book this again.
