Great beach house

Me and my wife had an amazing weekend at this house. It’s on a quite street not much traffic. Beach access is only like 50 feet away. The house had everything we needed.

Aug at the beach

We had a great time . We always go to the beach at this time of the yeqr.
The house was clean and well appointed.. ev3thing was fine and we had no occasion to call for help from the rentals place. If we ever go to this part of the coast again, we will rent this house again if possible.

Family-Anniversary Stay

Nice home for 2 couples

The open floor plan with kitchen, dining area and living room with TV altogether worked great for 4 guests. The third bedroom is really a very small den with TV and pull out couch. The couch mattress is only 5 1/2 foot long, so it's only good for kids or very short adults. It was described as a queen mattress--not true. When I called the property manager during the week in the afternoon I only got an answering machine. The property charged $75 for damage insurance on a 3 day rental with no option for a security deposit instead. That equals a rate of about $10,000 per year which seems way to high.
Beach access across the street was only about 150 feet from the driveway. We enjoyed 2 days touring the coast within 20 miles north and south. Lots to see.

Very clean and roomy

It was nice. Our first time in waldport staying and realized that there are not many options for eating out or shops. The weather was very foggy but that was because inland was so hot. Loved the house and close beach access.

Wonderful house

the house was very clean, and it was a very relaxing time.
the couch, though very nice looking,was quite the challenge to get out of.
I would recommend stabilizers for under the cushions.
The photo should be eliminated from the portfolio as that ocean scene is not what you see from this house which is across the street.
The smaller step by the front door should have a yellow strip to designate it from the rest of the deck, we had some one fall.

First stay in Waldport

Vacationed for four days with relatives.. Great place to stay and the accommodations were very good. Friendly folks to talk with and easy beach access. Our first stay in the Waldport area but not far to drive to other points of interest. Did not receive instructions for use of the property until the afternoon before we left to travel to it. A little disconcerning if you are a planner. But it all worked out and I would stay there again.

Great Vacation Home!

Everything was perfect! House was better than pictures show! Very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. We used as home base and went up and down the coast from there. Very convenient! Beach access is super close and very nice! Neighbors were friendly too!

Time Away

This house was perfect for our quick trip to the beach to get some time away! The beach access is basically directly across the street. You can see the ocean, it is between the houses across the street, but you can still enjoy the view. The beds were nice, furniture was comfortable, plenty of supplies, even soap/shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms, laundry soap, paper towels, etc. The place was very clean when we arrived, though an air freshener was used and it was very overpowering, so we had to open all the windows to air it out for awhile. Only "complaints" were there were NO sharp knives, so if you cook, bring your own. The outside garbage can was not there, after contacting them, we were told to put it in the garage. There was a tip envelope left by the cleaner, which I was not sure how I felt about that since we pay a cleaning fee. (I saw others mention it, so was aware)I decided with how things are these days that I'd leave a small tip since the place was very clean.(inside of the windows facing the ocean need to be cleaned, they have a haze on them where you can see hand prints.) Definitely will be returning to this house!

right across from beach access. Instructionjs said to bring your own paper supplies but they were provided. One thing that put me off a bit, housekeeper left a tip envelope with a 2018 tide table. We almost missed a big low tide.

Take out the garbage!

The full garbage can left in the garage from previous occupants was my biggest issue. We stayed four nights and did create our own garbage, several bags worth that I hope the garbage service got picked up before ocean scavengers got wind of. Other than that, the house was very acceptable with a good layout and plenty of room, close to the beach. Actually I thought the pictures didn't do the place justice, much more room inside than what I expected. I would stay here again.
Thank you! Yes the can should have been taken out and we apologize that it hadn't been. We will be sure to keep up on that. We agree the pictures don't do this home justic and are looking at redoing them to see if we can show more of the space.

Relaxing & Comfortable

My experience at Beach View Oasis was awesome and memorable. All was well with the home, very comfortable, very clean, relaxing. Everything functioned properly.
Wendy and Peter were very nice to work with. I really appreciated Wendy's help and consideration. We are definitely going to have a repeat vacation there.

I wasn't sure how big this house would be since 3 bed/2 bath homes can range in size signifcantly. But it was a roomy 1700 SF house. It had great natural lighting. Nice to hear/see the ocean from the front deck. The beach access was just across the street down a couple houses. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials (i.e. coffee maker, coffee filter, etc). Master bedroom was huge and bed was comfy. Bayshore is a wonderful location to go running/biking in the community. Great value and would highly recommend.

Beach View Oasis Review

Overall we were delighted with the location, decor and the home's layout for two couples. My negative comments are to address the floor cleaning. The kitchen and both bathrooms did not appear to have been properly cleaned - sticky and some hairs. Ick? The worst thing was running out of toilet paper the third day! There should always be a reserve supply on hand!
We state in all paperwork sent out including arrival information that is sent via email 3 days prior to bring extra paper products. We apologize if you didn't see this or were told as we try to make sure everyone knows.
