A modern day ensemble that delivers the unexpected. Inspiring and energetic, New York-based chamber music ensemble SHUFFLE Concert changes the rules of performance as we know it.
Occasionally the Lincoln City VCB places (we don’t actually drop the glass pieces, we just call it that) extra pieces of glass art on the beaches for beachcombers to find in addition to our regular Finders Keepers offerings. Special drops can include a combination of glass floats, sand dollars, crabs or starfish.
Our final installment in this three-part series will examine the last four years of the Swing Era, 1943 thru '46. Expect even more hits from the likes of Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, and Bing Crosby. All you can eat pancakes with scrambled eggs, choice of sausage or ham, milk, tea or coffee. Suggested donation $7. All proceeds go to support local nonprofit organizations. Sponsored by the Yachats Lions Club.

The Lincoln City Summer Kite Festival is held on the beach, in the center of Lincoln City, at the D-River Wayside from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend festival will include kite flying demonstrations by experts, free kids kitemaking, running of the bols, and some of the most colorful “big” kites in the world!
Nearly 30 coast artists will display their work in oils, watercolors, photography, acrylics, pen and ink, wood and other media. Please watch the guild's website and Facebook pages for more information as the dates near. Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10 am - 4 pm Monday 10 am - 3 pm
