This Yachats rental is a great place for your family or friends to stay and enjoy the Oregon Coast.
Just a short walk to the 804 trail or to a 6 mile stretch of sandy beach. Located just north of town. Great base for exploring all the the area has to offer. Come into town for some great food. Take a drive to Cape Perpetua and walk the trails. There is something for everyone. You can bring the dog too.

Perfect retreat
We absolutely loved this rental, even more than expected! The location was great, and it's in a super quiet neighborhood. The layout was so comfy and great for the dogs with the fenced yard. The house was well-equipped for cooking and had extra blankets and pillows for a good night's sleep too. It's a short walk to the 804 trail and quick drive to town. We will absolutely be back.

Lovely house just a few houses from the beach! A perfect couples retreat, especially if you have a pup! The house is clean, great furniture, comfy bed, and fully stocked kitchen. Couldn't recommend the Salmon Street house enough!

Spring Nreak with kids
Great spot. Good for 4 people and two teenagers. Roomy place with nice outside areas front and back. Quick walk to the beach. Very close to Yachats businesses. Pet friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful

Great Oregon Coast Getaway

Went to Yachats to meet family from Portland and Chicago, who were staying nearby. Needed a close by, dog friendly, reasonably priced place, and this fit the bill. Spacious (for two people.) Could sleep 6 with 4 in hideabeds. Great yard for the dog. The home was large enough for the family to come for dinner and hang out. Short walk to the beach, which is very quiet and uncrowded.

Great location and stay. There was an issue with the comforter which I addressed to the property manager. Their response was immediate and they provided a new comforter in a short matter of time.
3 star for cleanliness. The place was spotless however, the last cleaner must’ve missed some pet fur on several pieces of furniture. Easy to miss until you sit on the sofa wearing dark clothing.

Wonderful vacation home

This is our 2nd yr coming to this him. The location, neighbors, access to the beach and the trail is a straight walk dow the street -1/2 block. This is our summer destination. The bed is great. The only suggestion is that the owners do a little bit of minor maintenance inside.

Loved Salmon Street Retreat

My husband and I (and our dog) had a wonderful stay at Salmon Street Retreat. We've stayed at many vacation rentals and this one is right up there with the best we've experienced. Perfectly located at intersection of 804 Trail and long stretch of beach, we utilized both many times. The house itself is great with two sitting areas, a well equipped kitchen, large dining table great for games and puzzles (many provided), fenced back yard, nice front deck, and a comfortable bed. The entire rental process was smooth and easy. If we return to this area, we will definitely stay at Salmon Street Retreat again.

Cozy place to weather a stormy Oregon coast weekend

The rental was wonderful. I have zero complaints about the property. It was clean and comfortable. It has everything you'd hope for in a beach house. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The backyard was fenced in so we could have our dog run around. The property is located just on the north end of Yachats. Maybe a 3 min drive back into town. It's also located a few hundred feet from a beach and the 804 trail. I would 100% stay at this house again. I have already recommended it to the in-laws. It was a lovely way to spend our anniversary weekend.
The only bad thing I can say was dealing with the rental company. And it was bad.
I had provided my credit card information to them when I reserved the property. I got an email stating that they needed my three digit code on the back of my card to process which I timely provided to them. Yet, they did not charge my card. A month later, I got another email saying that I had a balance due in order to make the reservation. I again provided the info that was requested but weeks later they still hadn't charged my card. I was worried that my reservation would be canceled so I reached out to the rental company. I called. Left messages. I emailed. I sent messages through the Vrbo app. I got nothing. I called more than 20 times over the course of several weeks. I left 8 or 9 voicemails. No one ever answered the phone and no one called me back. All I wanted was to pay for the rental and get confirmation that the place was ours for the weekend.
I almost canceled the reservation and rebooked with another company because I was worried about not having a place to stay on our anniversary. I contacted the complaints department of Vrbo which I spent over an hour with over the course of two calls. Finally the people from Ocean Odyssey got back to me, and charged my card for the rental. It took getting Vrbo involved. After that it was fine. The place was wonderful. The rental agency was

My son and I had a nice time, we have been renting from Ocean Odyssey for over 13 years and have always had a great time! We did enjoy the Salmon Street Retreat, but I do wish that they had left us some cleaning supplies for the bathroom...particularly during the times that we are living in. Other than that it was a nice week and it was great to see the ocean again.

I have been vacationing in this house for many years. It is a great place to spent by the Ocean,minutes away , along the 804 hike,miles of beaches. It is a roomy house with a large fenced grassy yard.New addition , front porch, sitting there with your feet up and a beer in your hand, what could be better. Much more than what we expected!

We spent a week here in late August and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The place was much bigger than expected, fantastic location, kind neighbors, and provided the peaceful retreat we were hoping for. The beach is very close and had very few people. Trail 804 was also a great treat with incredible scenery. We already decided we need at least 2 weeks next time to fully enjoy it! Our kids and dogs were in heaven 🙂

We come to this beach on the Oregon coast every year. We have stayed in a number of houses, but this one is really special. From the cute mid-century decor, to the nice ocean view from the deck, we really fell in love with this spot. Everything was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Wonderful Beach Cottage and neighborhood

The cottage is located on a street which is less than 1 block from the Oregon Coastal Trail. To the right, miles of sandy beach and the the left the trail is above a beautiful rocky shore to walk along. The cottage is well arranged, beautiful front windows, a deck that you can sit and hear the ocean as the day goes by.

The Salmon Street Retreat does not disappoint! The property is conveniently located next to the 804 trail or steps to the sandy beach! My dog and I had a delightful time playing on the beach, exploring the local hiking trails, and relaxing enjoying the many views! I love the recent remodeling of the deck; it was a great way to relax at the end of the day. We will be back!

the house was great espically since they take dogs. kitchen was dated but doable. carpet seemed dated, maybe new flooring would be good instead of wall to wall. master bed was fine. one fold out didn't work properly but the location was excellent and peter was very helpful helping with the tv. neighbors friendly too.

Enjoyed 3 nights in this charming home. Location was very good, although the ocean view was not as nice as the photo shows. But it's peaceful setting, dead end street and beach access is convenient. Also liked that it was close to town and amenities. Temps were below freezing our first night so the floors were chilly but overall it was comfortable, cozy and relaxing which was just what we were looking for!

The house was stocked exceptionally well from kitchen needs to games. The main tv was not working. No screens on the windows so we shared space with the flies every evening. We couldn’t enjoy watching sunsets from the front deck because of blackberry vines coming through the floorboards and over the railings. The bathroom sink and shower had to be cleaned prior to use. I may give this another chance to see if any maintenance has been done. It could be a wonderful place to stay!

Very Clean, Great Backyard, Well Equipped

We just spent two days here with our dog. The fenced backyard was great. House was very clean, furniture was nice, bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Only complaint would be the lack of any lamps in the back (family?) room for reading.
