Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was just as described and even more fully stocked with necessities than expected. Prime location within walking distance of the beach and town. Would definitely recommend.

Great Retreat

We have stayed in this cabin at least three times. It has great views of the river and mountains. It is comfortable, private and quiet. There's plenty of room and the three baths are a welcome feature. The town Yachats itself is fun and very easy to get to.
The property is a little tired and could use some routine care (the screen door hasn't been repaired in two years), but nothing that would keep us from coming back. Other than having no washcloths, the baths and kitchen was fairly well appointed.
Will we book it again? Yes! It isn't perfect, but it is a good deal and the wonderful location does make it a special treat.

Beautiful home in Quiet Waters

Quiet Waters is one of my favorite places to stay in Yachats, and this house was absolutely amazing. We could see the river flowing by from all three floors of the home, which is tastefully decorated and so comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.

Fine place in yachats

No window treatments whatsoever and a skylight over the main bed! Rental company didn't respond to questions, info for house was generic across multiple properties and did not correspond to actual property.

Very Comfortable

We have stayed at this property before and really enjoyed it. This stay was equally good. The location is quiet and the view of the river is beautiful. It is very likely that we will return once or twice a year.

Clean and Peaceful

i really enjoyed staying here! I actually slept in the bay window because it was so cozy. My dog and i had a great time and spent fun times in yachats and then I'd have an IPA on the deck when we got back. very comfy!!

Quiet cottage

Access to the house was easy. While we were a 5 minute walk into the village, if felt like we were in a secluded cottage on the rice surrounded by trees. It felt cozy and yet had plenty of space. Loved that the bedrooms were on two different floors. Will come back to this peaceful hide away.

Great Cabin on the Coast

We certainly enjoyed our visit and plan to go back several times. We had a very comfortable stay. Wonderful location - nice view of the river with an easy walk to the ocean. My only hesitation in recommending it is the fear it will not be available to us.

Great time in Yachats

This house was awesome. Stayed nice and toasty warm during the multiple storms that passed thru during our stay. We thought the stove was wood, but it turned out to be gas. We left a good pile of firewood in the garage for anyone that wants to take it for a beach fire. The window nook/bed was great. I'd highly recommend staying here. Nice and close to the beach and the woods. Perfect place to travel north or south to see many beautiful beaches and towns. Thanks Ocean Odyssey Rentals!

Bird song

it was a great get away with plenty of bird song and view of the river.Tho only negative aspect was the neighbor was having construction done on the house and the contractor worked until 845 p.m.

What an awesome experience!

This was an amazing experience: location is walking distance to town and restaurant, you can see river from the porch and fun blue Steller's jays. There is no dishwasher in the unit, but there is a washer and dryer and lots of towels and the owners left soaps, detergent, shampoo products, sunscreen, bug repellent, lots of extra blankets and bedding. Also, great large fridge and large chef's sink. We loved the unique lighting fixtures throughout the house. Upstairs bathroom has a large tub and first floor has a rain-shower head style and other modern faucet features. We loved that each separate space came with its own heat control/knob. Also, really enjoyed the fireplace. The bed upstairs was on the softer side, so we slept in the basement where there was plenty of space on harder-cushion couches, so depending on your preference, various sleeping spaces are available 🙂 We loved the upstairs enclosed balcony and that there was another open porch leading from the basement. Highly recommend this cozy, adorable, well-maintained, rustic structure with modern features, airy and spacious house 🙂
