Peace and Comfort with an Ocean View
Our family of four truly enjoyed this spacious, lovely, and comfortable home with its Pacific Ocean view. A wider DISH TV channel selection could be added for evening entertainment. A perfect home base to visit numerous coastal sights and beaches.

Amazing views and cozy home

My family stayed at Bella Vista for a week, we were very happy with our experience there. I loved the open space, and the fact that my daughter had her own separate bathroom. Also, the decor was interesting and unique, not your typical beach setting. The view was amazing, and we were very comfortable in this cozy home.

A great place to unplug

We had a wonderful time at Bella Vista; it's a very comfortable, solid house that hardly makes a noise even with strong winds and stronger gusts. There was plenty of room for my husband and I to both have our own space for our hobbies. The house is in a very quiet location.
The absolutely best part was that during the big ice storm that hit while we were there, the gas stove kept the house very warm and the gas stove top enabled us to cook. The only thing we didn't have were lights which was taken care of with a few flashlights and candles.
The negatives were that the only place you can see the ocean when sitting down is in the second bedroom and there isn't enough hot water to fill the big comfortable bathtub even half full.
We would definitely go back.

Our Getaway

We stay at Bella Vista at least twice a year. We come from Eugene for some peace and Yachats. Always clean and inviting. Very convenient to Yachats and the ocean. Toad Hall is always a delightful stop. Bread and Roses a must. Up to Nye Beach for a meal at Nana’s and shopping at Jovi. Agate hunting at our best kept secret beach. Like I said, peace and Yachats.

Bella Vista Heaven on Earth in Yachats Oregon

This was my second year to stay at Bella Vista. It was perfect. So relaxing. So beautiful. Home is clean and well furnished. Great location. Awesome views from all windows. No street noise being up on the hill. Soothing sound of ocean day and night. Very private. Beautiful garden and foliage. Already plan on staying in 2024.

Amazing views!
We loved staying at Bella Vista. It was exactly as described, although even roomier in person than the pictures appeared. Great views, fully stocked kitchen and everything was very comfortable. Very clean upon arrival and a quick couple minute drive to town. You are up a steep hill in case you're wanting to walk down to the water. The place was great and we'd definitely return!

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful stay for 2 couples for a week in November. Close to everything we needed & wanted to see & do. Great layout. Full unobstructed view of the water from the living room area & from the smaller second bedroom. Large, open kitchen fully equipped with quality items. It really had everything you'd ever need. Appliances were nice and worked well. Gas stove/oven was a plus. Microwave was very efficient as was the coffee maker. Master bedroom was a good size and bed was comfy. Would be better if hedges were trimmed so there is a view of the ocean from the master. Deck off both bedrooms a plus. The extra large open closet/storage in the master has books & games with tons of room. Window in closet needs a shade as the sun coming through hits the sink mirror & can be blinding. The bathtub in the master was a great addition but could use a grab bar as it's a bit awkward to enter/exit. It's a great luxury once you're in! Both baths were well appointed. Bath off guest room can serve as private bath for just that room or has another door off laundry room for its use as a 2nd misc bath. Both baths had sufficient starter tp & kitchen had paper towels. We, of course, brought more. Washer & dryer were fine for small loads but dryer did take a bit longer than anticipated, so keep that in mind. Home was very clean. Lots of available bed & bath linens. Ocean Odyssey was responsive & wonderful to work with.

We had a lovely stay at Bella Vista. Morning coffee sitting out on the front porch overlooking Yachats and the ocean was a favorite activity. The house is very comfortable and conducive to a quiet reflective weekend. Will definitely being staying here again.

Heaven in Yachats Oregon at Bella Vista

Bella Vista was more than we had expected. The views from all four directions of the house were beautiful. Everything about the property was perfect. The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, the washer/dryer, the garage, the east garden, the south garden, the west deck, all perfect. So peaceful. The location in the center of the Oregon coast was perfect for going north or south and back "home". We went as far north as Oysterville Washington and as far south as the Redwoods in California. We drove the Yachats road on the east side of town to the Yachats covered bridge and then over an awesome one lane road over to the Cape Perpetua area. We loved going down to the beach at Yachats and watching the waves come crashing in. The Oregon coast is so amazingly beautiful. If you lead a good life and say your prayers when you die you go to Oregon. The home was perfectly decorated and furnished. The home was perfectly clean. We plan on making Bella Vista our home away from home for many years to come. We have already recommended Bella Vista to both of our daughters families.

Great location and wonderful view

This house was in excellent condition and as-described it has a wonderful view. The only suggestion we have is that the website be updated. It’s pretty unusual to ask guests to bring their own toilet paper and coffee filters. That seems like something easy to provide. That was a minor irritation for an otherwise wonderful stay.

Just perfect
Bella Vista is a beautiful rental in Yachats. It is spacious, comfortable, private and offers amazing views. My husband and I had a wonderful time just kicking back and enjoying the views. The home had everything we needed for our week-long stay. Luxury and the comforts of home all wrapped up in one perfect setting!

Great location and beautiful ocean view. Internet was spotty, and couldn’t quite figure out how to use Netflix. Other than that, it was great! Would definitely would recommend staying there.

Mostly pretty good
It was great - clean and easy to find. Only complaint was that lawn chairs for use on deck were broken. Need to replace these. Also request to wash and dry all towels before leaving delayed our departure by 90 minutes ( took 2 loads )

Amazing!
The ocean views from the house are awesome. Kitchen is fairly well stocked but we couldn't find things like aluminum foil and cling wrap. But those are small things. Place was very clean, beds cfortable and location perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bella Vista.

Comfortable, nicely furnished, well stocked home. Beautiful view. Walked to town several times and down to beach easily. House is on hillside so going home is up pretty steep, but short incline. Perfect layout for familes and/or couples. Would definitely stay here again. Great communication and easy peasy check in.

Bella Vista was a wonderful home to rent. Very clean upon arrival. The views are absolutely incredible! The beds are so comfy and lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of pots/pans and utensils to cook a full meal! The only thing missing is a hot tub. Highly recommend Bella Vista! We LOVE working with Ocean Odyssey!

Wonderful getaway

Our stay was about as close to perfect as you can get. The home was wonderful - super clean, warm and an ideal location. The view of the coast was amazing - a great way to wake up every morning.
We love to cook and the kitchen was well stocked with pretty much everything we needed. The gas stove was nice, and the open layout very comfortable.
I hope we get a chance to stay at Bella Vista again!

Peaceful Sanctuary
This was the perfect home for our anniversary get away. The home was beautiful and well maintained and the view of the ocean was amazing. It was peaceful and private. We loved the open concept floor plan and the beautiful wood floors as well as the deep soaking tub and lovely master suite. We stay in many rentals and this was by far one of the best!

My stay at Bella Vista

I was very impressed. I arrived 2 days earlier than my reservation and Peter did everything to get us into the home early by getting his cleaning staff to schedule the cleaning of the home so we could have it the day we arrived. Peter is always great to work with!!! we have been renting with Ocean Odesey for the last four and a half years and have always been very pleased with the houses!!

Yachats, has been my place to go twice a year for 16 years. Peter, from Ocean Odyssey Vacation Rentals, suggested Bella Vista after the home owners from a previous location moved back to Yachats. Peter's customer service is excellent and he makes you feel like you are a friend and always greets you with a smile. It is peaceful and quiet with a wonderful deck to view the ocean. Bella Vista makes the vacation extra special with all the comforts of home. It is close to town, restaurants and beaches.
